The irrigation controller holds no personal data. It has no account, no network dependency in the sensing path, and it sends nothing to us. Everything below concerns this website and any SaharaSprout online service you sign in to.
1. This website
saharasprout.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If you email or call us we hold what you send us for as long as we need it to reply.
2. Data a signed-in service collects
- Identity. Name, username or a similar identifier.
- Contact. Email address and phone number.
- Technical. IP address, browser type and device information.
- Farm. Crop types, location coordinates and readings, where you choose to upload them.
3. Social sign-in
If you sign in with Facebook or Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and use them to create and verify your account. We do not post to your social accounts.
4. What we use it for
- Operating the service you asked for.
- Answering you when you get in touch.
- Sending you notices about the service itself.
- Preventing fraud and unauthorised access.
5. Deletion
You can delete your account and its data at any time. The steps are on the data deletion page.
